As far as I can see all are typed correctly. Case sensitivity doesn't seem to work either. Its hard to screw up 5 characters even for an old dud like me. Could it be some firewall problem?

Well, you can try reloading the page and getting new characters. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working.

Are you using Firefox or IE?

Tried everything to download content but can't seem to get past the verification check.  What's the secret??
Are you using 06?  Because I'm having the same problem...the download helper recognizes the content and the DLS exist, it shows up in the DLH, but when I hit "download" the speed stays at 0.00 bps...I can still use the FTP, but it's a pain in the ass if you're trying to download route dependencies...

He's talking about USLW, ferrous, not DLS. USLW's site is a pain in the butt to download from if you use IE. You should get rid of that stupid verification code check. Do it like TPR which doesn't seem to have these problems.

Oh, mea culpa.  That's what I get for checking the forums before I'm fully awake!  :Smiley

TPR's site is annoying because you need an account, the verification is to keep internet bots from wasting our bandwith.

I just need to finish the rebuilt version of the download page.  That was one of my first php works.. its not bad but theres some sloppy code that I blame for causing problems with the verification.  I've never been able to create the problem in ie, I guess someones using ie v6?

I'm using v7.0 Tyler. I haven't downloaded for a while now, but what happens is basically you type in that annoying code and hit enter or whatever and you get a page that says verifying or something and that if the redirect to the download doesn't occur within six seconds click here. It's the redirect that never works, you always get kicked back and have to enter another code. The only way to "beat the system" is to remember to click on the "if the download doesn't start within six seconds" line very quickly. Then you can get through. I never remember though, so it always takes me three or four tries before I am sucessful. But then, I am a slow learner.

Tyler

I am using IE7 which is supposed to work. It is frustrating because I am a fan of GFishers work and can't download it. Since TRS 2009 has come out I'm getting my Trainz buzz back.

If still having an issue, even with FF, hold down right ctrl after you enter the code, that overrides the built-in blocker.  Smiley
