That was so fake. the plane had less film grain in it than the rest of the seen. although i wouldn't be surprised if the military even pondered about sub launched bombers or something of that matter.

Ohio Class
Submarines used by the US Navy, 14 of them have 24 Trident II SLBMs (Submarine Launched Ballistic Missiles), and the rest have around 154 Tomahawks. Even older classes of submarines in the Navy (that have now been decommissioned, had missiles that came out from the top of the submarine and either had a set target or were guided.
