Not really....MSTS' built in rolling stock isn't very impressive....third party creators have brought MSTS to the level it is today.  I think the reason MSTS rolling stock can look better than Trainz is because MSTS content creators can get away with higher poly counts.....the MSTS program needs only 32 Mb RAM and a Pentium II 266 processor to run....even today's modest setup would have been a dream machine back then.  Anyone who loads MSTS out of the box isn't going to be impressed at all....the third party upgrades need to be installed to get MSTS up to speed.... 8)

Not exactly talking about the built-in models, sounds, etc. More about the Physics engine and the way it's set up visually as far as a lighting engine goes. Wink

No...actually you were answering gotoguy's question on why MSTS' rolling stock looks better than Trainz by implying that it was because MSTS put more thought into it's program than Auran did into Trainz...sort of a backdoor dig at Auran....and I just set the record straight... 8)
