Great shots, I like the 3dTrains stuff, definitely nice. Is that the Surfliner freeware route I see? Looks amazing.

Thanks, I had to go back and look at my shots to see if it was or not. Tongue Yep, that is the freeware Pacific Surfliner which is way better than the Failure Point Media payware version, except for the fact that the station platforms are a few car lengths short; but the passengers don't mind.
The track is not scale rail, it is just an amazing track texture done by Ericmp which transforms the track into something actually realistic. The actual route is not scalerail-able due to not having all the proper scalerail shapes to completely convert the route. Surprisingly, the Train Simulator community actually was able to live with that.

Wow, I just realized that I feel for the signal maintainer with this one.

That's one ladder I wouldn't want to use.

Great route. Looks pretty awesome.

The front loco on the other hand...meh. I'm not really a big fan of photoskinned locos.

Great shots nonetheless!

Love the trolley route, pretty sure I've seen that somewhere before.

I want that grocery store in Trainz - it would be right at home in East Kentucky...

Andy,

Thanks for your complement on Tim Muir's route.  From one with your abilities, (I love your shots of the East Kentucky route), it is very much appreciated.  It hasn't been released yet and for the time being is on hold due to Tim having some family emergencies and such.  If there is some way of converting it, the country store is available over at Elvas Tower in MSTS format for download.

BNSF Power leads CSX Q129-03 down the W&A Subdivision. The first shot is by the church in Acworth, GA; and the second is at the south end of the Martin-Marietta siding.

Very nice.  I railfanned the real W&A Sub once last year when we visited friends near Acworth.  That thing is CRAZY busy.  My dad and I sat in a sandwich shop near the tracks for about half an hour and watched 3 or 4 go by within that time period.  Then we went and caught at least 4 more in about an hour or two.  Real fun stuff.  We also went and saw two or three cross the Etowah Bridge near Carters.  That thing is pretty awesome, too.
