"In a time where steam is quickly coming to an end, NYC 4-8-2 #3124 defies all odds to avoid the scrapper's flame. Join us as we follow this engine's heroic journey to reach one of the few safe havens for his kind."

Inspired by the book, "The Mohawk That Refused To Abdicate" by David P. Morgan, this video series brings an action-packed adventure full of moments that leave you on the edge of your seat.

Part 6 (finale)
Coming Soon!

Editor's Note: I just want to let the viewers know that this series is meant to put a fictional spin on the "transition era." This is NOT a series for those who claim to be "rivet counters." I hope that you will set your railroad encyclopedias down for a while to enjoy these vids.

Thank you. Smiley

EPIC!  Love it!  I almost cried when the 4-6-2 died...  Cry

But the part where the UP units almost found him in part 4 and the passenger train went by was very clever!  Can't wait for the end!  +1

It may be fictional, but I love it. Atleast no faces on the locos Like Thomas The Tank Engine. This is so much better.

Just want everyone to know that this project is not dead. Part 5 will be the last installment of the series, and I don't want it to be anything less than mind-blowing. The only obstacles are that school is starting for me next week, and I'm still figuring out the fine details in the script.

Actually, tbh, there is no REAL script. I just sort of set a point A and a point B, and fill in little action sequences as I go. I'm just as curious as everyone else as to whether #3124 will make it or not. Undecided

We shall all find out soon enough.

I like these videos, but it makes me wish we had a NKP Berk like #765 for Trainz, because that is surely the Steam Locomotive that will not die. She runs on the Cuyahoga Valley Line in September.

Nice. I really like the cinematography of the videos. Especially the last one.
