Right. My bad. I'm normally good with Engine ID, (when your dad is a car nut, let alone a ASE certified Mech, you know car stuff.)
That is, although, a very nice 71' Chevelle.

well, the nova is a small block 350 (distributor in back)  while the chevelle is a big block 454. thanks btw.

At least I hope he was talking about the one on the ground being a Chevelle.  If you were talking about the one on the rack we'll have to slap you around.   Without seeing the side and tail light very well It could be anywhere from a 69 to a 73.  I use to have a 69 Chevelle.

ah but looking at the headlight bezels will reveal it to be a 70. 67-69 were sloped, and 71-73 were single on either side. (this coming from a mopar guy)  Grin
