Ooooh I like that ballast color. By the way, are you still planning on making a trackbed, and rusted rail version of this track?
Yes I am. Just haven't got their yet.
Complete wit a chunky mesh track on the far side.

Wow, that is impression, Bill!
Doing you will make tracks from East coast, like Norfolk Southern tracks/ballast and CSX tracks/ballast?

I was looking though my pictures I've taken and I have some good rusty rails and other ballast colors I can use. I'll see if I can get another ballast and some rusty rails done tomorrow.
If not then in the next few days maybe. I have something else in the works at the moment.

Fantastic! I like the track I'm using, but it certainly could be better.

I took the images for that on the BNSF main a little north of Modesto Calif. I thought that pinkish red ballast looked interesting so I figured I'd use it for a track texture.
Here's a nice bleached out by the sun abandon track.

Very nice looking Bill. Your track is what I am going to be using for the Shamokin division by the way. The rusty track looks great.

A few adjustments to it.
I might have to do something about that light colored tie.

1024x1024 image for the ballast looks much better. Now you can count the rocks.
