I trashed my layout yesterday, whats left of it is still in the garage the rest may rest in pieces.  So in my situation the layout room didn't get worse, but way better!

Uh this may be a bump or not. Right now I'm so tired I really don't know. Anyway, when it comes to 3D trainz route creation(not the cheap ones) is my specialty. Now in the real world I can build anything needed. So when on my N scale I needed to the mainline from board to another and had the locomotive service shop in the way, I faced a big program. Either move the structure and it's trucks (that's not going to happen) or bridge the line. So,  knowing the I was going to be running heavy trains over line, out came the  I beam, channels, tweezers, reading glasses, spare hair,Plastruct glue, regular glue, sheet plastic and one very large cup of coffee. Long story even longer, I scratch built a bridge that now swing around the back of the locomotive service facility on the layout. The bridge is rated to handle HO Scale brass( Yes I tried it). Sure I may have over built it, but then again I like it. Also this one bridge (named Andrews Bridge after my late son)had just opened alot of idea. Did I have I fun oh yeah. Oh at the end I goofed. I laid out a curve that is too sharp for my Dash9 and SD80Mac. But now I'll have the layout going all the way around the train room. Hmmmmm -- I still win.
Here's a few pics.
Template used to make the bridge

Track going in

Test train

and now this curve is to sharp. So the N scale is going to circle the room

SAXT Goes Heavy Lift.
With the addition of two Heavy Lift cranes and a Schnabel Car, SAXT will be moving into the heavy lift market. Now no matter deep your firm wants to pile their crap, SAXT has the means to move that crap where it needs to go. Even if it's a boat load of crap, we can move it. Extra shipping charges do apply for for stinky crap, runny crap or the slimy green crap that makes you wonder " OK What did I eat to make that crap".

Yes the Schnabel car does come with a load.

After getting both cranes in, I have set about the long task of building one of them. The first crane in the erecting hall is the LIEBHERR LG 1800 SPACE LIFTER seen with the truck complete. Next is the wheel house and then the lattice boom, then everything else.

Mmm... Frappuchino

For model railroading related stuff, i've got none at the moment. I'm eventually going to start building my 4 X 8 N scale layout set in the Cascade Range in Washington state. Just need to get the extra track for the plan :shitfan:

@ Enginewhistle, if I had the extra track I would be more than happy to send it to you. I would love see the layout take shape when you start.
@ Kon, the O-27 layout looks real good. I would love to more of it if you don't mind.
Oh the frappuccino is right beside me as I type this.
