Awesome work Steve!  That's one of the ex-BNSF units you're modeling there right?

All I did was remove the cab and trim the frame for the new cab but thanks?   :smirk:

Oh whoops I just glanced at the cab and didn't notice it was a wide cab (I shouldn't post this early in the morning :kablamo:).

Not on my widescreen right now so I only saw a corner of the cab in the shot and I thought you were trying to model one of the units BNSF just sold off to CN.

My bad, :facepalm1:

Amazing work on taht one, the weathering looks great!  For the battered up top part of the car did you bend down the sides or did you melt them down a bit?  Either way the effect worked and it looks stunning!

Looks good! I'm guessing that you put a lighter to it and roughed it up a bit. And if so, how long did you expose the car to the flame?

I think another layer of dark shit inside would make the rust look good. Now it looks like you took someones heart and shoved it into a cable saw and caught the outbound spray with the gondola..

Dullcote F'd it.  I just need to hit it up with another layer of rust powders and it'll be fine.
