So the C&O 614 is being refurbished to run this trip...now THAT will be a sight to see if it actually happens!

There is also chatter in that thread that they need 2 more steamers for the fleet....   and eyes are on the 611 as shes still in good shape.  I will celebrate this day like my birthday if thats the case...

I met Ross back during the High Iron days. I'm old, but Ross has to be older than dirt, lol. I hope they get the 614 running for sure, that would be great.

i use to see him every X-mas when he would come over and give me my presents. He doesn't come over as much any more. Now that i got a car i should go see him when he operates the train on the NH&I.

i guess from this the YRE project has died http://www.yellowribbonexpress.com/
