The Central of Wisconsin
« on: May 24, 2007, 08:29:50 PM »
Hey everyone!

Since Nikos has posted shots of his own "Semi-Proto" route I figured I might as well post a few of mine!  :o

My route is the Central of Wisconsin. (aka the CoW)  ;D  It will be about 20 miles long when I'm done with it.  It is basically a bridge line hosting through trains from CN, CP, BNSF, & UP.  The CoWs operations include a daily road freight between the two yards on the end of the line.  Then there the cars are broken down into locals.  One headed outbound from each end terminal.

As the south end local performs its switching duties at the ENORMOUS Kavoori Paper Company a southbound MoW train rolls back to Bancroft after finishing its work up in Junction City.

Here is the venerable SD45 beating across WI-21 slowing for the yard limits in Bancroft.

The MOW train crawls into the yard to be held untill Nikos can get on iportal and take it off my hands for another load of ballast.

Not long after the MoW train gets tied down, the local crawls into the yard. Soon the crew will be heading home to a good Friday Fish Fry!

enjoy!

Steve

That is one ugly ass paint scheme there Steve, the guys who did that must have been drunk, color blind and in the dark. Other than that, great work!  ;)

You should probably fix your roadrailers and you just HAD to post pics of the unfinished part of the route  ;D

Ah... Tyler. The road railers should have the back doors to the back of the train not the front. :P
Nice pics though.
