They just don't want to see the common power; however, I think that picture deserves it.

At least you guys don't live in the land of CSX Bone Valley dispatching.  95% of it is EC-1 (track warrant) control, and with names like Agrico, Agrock, Rockland, and New Wales (which is nowhere near the actual town of New Wales), it get's confusing fast.  Take for example the "South Wye Mulberry," with control points named "South Wye South Mulberry," "North Wye South Mulberry," and "Stem of the Wye South Mulberry."  I once heard a track inspector want time on all three legs of the wye.  The conversation went something like this:

"J.A. Governelli to the CSX JF Dispatcher in Jacksonville, over."
"CSX JF Dispatcher answering, over."
"This is J.A. Governelli here at the SAS North Wye South Mulberry.  I need the track from the North Wye South Mulberry to the Stem of South Mulberry, then back around the south leg to the South Wye South Mulberry.  Afterwards, I need from the South Wye South Mulberry back to the North Wye South Mulberry."
"Okay, hold on a sec... over."
"Holdin' on, over."
***5 minutes later***
"Okay J.A. Governelli, you have EC-1 number blah-blah-blah-blah-blah.  To the ID 12345, J.A. Governelli copying, at the milepost SV123.4.  Circle line 1.  Operate on the main track in a southbound direction between the SAS North Wye South Mulberry and the NAS Stem of South Mulberry.  Circle line 1B.  Operate on the main track in a northbound direction between the NAS Stem of South Mulberry and the NAS South Wye South Mulberry.  Circle line 1C.  Operate on the main track in a northbound direction between the NAS South Wye South Mulberry and the SAS North Wye South Mulberry.  Over."
"Um... okay.  This is EC-1 number 12345 to the ID 12345, J.A. Governelli copying.  I am at the milepost SV123.4.  Circle line 1, operate on the main track in a southbound direction between the South Wye South Mulberry and the Stem of South Mulberry..."
"Wait, no.  That's wrong.  It's the SAS North Wye South Mulberry and the NAS Stem of South Mulberry, over."
"Oh, excuse me.  My bad.  Make that the SAS North Wye South Mulberry and the NAS Stem of South Mulberry..."
"No, sir. You need to repeat it back to me from the beginning, over."
"Oh, okay.  This is EC-1 number 12345 to the ID 12345, J.A. Governelli copying.  I am at the milepost SV123.4.  Circle line 1, operate on the main track in a southbound direction between the SAS North Wye South Mulberry and the NAS Stem of South Mulberry.  Circle line 1B.  Operate on the main track in a southbound direction between the NAS Stem of South Mulberry and the SAS South Wye South Mulberry.  Circle line 1C.  Operate on the main track in a northbound direction between the NAS South Wye South Mulberry and the SAS North Wye South Mulberry.  Over."
"I'm sorry, sir, but you've still got it wrong.  It's a northbound direction between the NAS Stem of South Mulberry and the NAS South Wye South Mulberry, over."

At this point, the track inspector finally got it right (after a few more tries), so just remember this every time your Georgia dispatchers mess up: At least they don't have a South Wye Mulberry.  ;)
