-union station denver. UP 844 and my friend was engineer that day for the heritage ace.

-me with the 844 in denver and during a rockies game!

-me visiting cajon pass and family last year. right down for silverwood!

-thanx. ya if i stay here this summer i might have a chance to get a cab ride or a ride on the train. i'm not holding my breath but u never know. my dever UP friends said that they might do a double header with the 3985 this year!

The first time in many years that 1005 actually left the building and once it was under the wire it moved under it's own power for the first time in about 40 years. :rockon:



Still not done with the restoration but it's getting closer.

The brakeman (on the rear platform, not pictured) was kind enough to pass on word of our presence over the radio. :rolleyes:
