I probably rode in that car back when I was in Boot Camp / Basic Electricity & Electronics for the US Navy while stationed at NTC San Diego back in 1986-1987....... The Santa Fe Depot in town was a great place for a little off duty train watching. Its nice to see one being preserved.

Since the Boot Camp was next door to the airport, we did airplane pushups...

Plane came over head.... "Up"

Another plane came over head....."Down"

That looks like fun!  I never did get to ride one when we were in San Diego a few years ago.

This is not what we normally see out here.  Same goes for the passenger cars.

While I'm at it lets keep kicking the forum corpse.

Here's what you get when your GP16's relays don't pick up and melt themselves.  First tool used to get them out was a fire extinguisher.  That solid mass I'm holding use to be the contacts.

Looks like the aftermath of dirty tips and no arch shoot.  Is anything left on that contactor that is reusable?

Whole thing was burnt out, went right to the dumpster.
