Started a G gauge Layout.
« on: April 29, 2011, 01:40:43 AM »
I started planning and really moving forward on my Garden layout the other day. I dug up an old pond and moved it and put it where i'm going to want it. Here's some photos (more to come)

Hears the plans for phase 1 of my project. No industry's no sidings. Just the main line track.

I plan to have a town at the big pond and a town at the small pond with a small branch line snaking it's way up the 4ft clime to the highest point. with a few industry's in phase 2.
(phase 3 will be expanding the mainline all the way around the house but I'm not exactly going to tell my perrents yet  shhhhh  ;) )

Here's a photo of me ripping up the big pond on Easter.

Look at all the possible lawn i can expand in to

Chances are, if I started a garden railroad, I'd end up backing the Escort over it by accident.
It's what's for lunch.

Well i got my first load of fill dirt today. I found a place that's giving away free fill dirt. my school over bidded on a construction project and got 2  1 story tall piles of dirt left over. they gave me the keys to the front end loader and was like "take as much as you want any time you want" So I'm happy. Once i can figure out how to transfer the photos from my phone to my computer I'll post more photos of my progress.
