That's been talked about before - now that Alex's railroad isn't sprawled on top of mine, merging the routes together would definitely be doable.  But it's fun enough the way we do it where we shoot each other (or just me sending mine around) the spreadsheets that contain all customers, frequency of cars, coming from what railroad, going to what customer, etc.  My route is actually on the Slatington PA DEM and despite the town names is completely accurate as far as the prototype area in terms of location; Nikos' SBSR is as well iirc.

Small section of one of the pieces to the spreadsheet I mentioned:
(I still have yet to change the MBYN reporting marks yet again to whatever Alex is calling his railroad today)

It's a fun little project.  :)

That does look like a lot of fun, I love the spreadsheet and attention to details.

Filled up a good bit of the storage track today:

I'm thinking a pair of gutted ALCos will just about do it.

Edit:  One down.  Saw a picture of the real 9944 and couldn't rest until I had it.

The more I look at that red and yellow hood segment, the more I think I'm going to need to skin a whole unit in that scheme.

Looking good Adam, you finished that derelict RS1 fast!
Long overdue update, the paint shop has finally got a hold of one of the bandit GP35's for repainting and its seen here on its first run in new paint on the short Kratzerville branch which extends north from Shamokin Dam to Kratzerville. The paint shop had a hard time deciding how to apply the scheme to a high hood unit so the next one may come out of the shop looking a bit different.

Switching the grain elevator at Fair Oaks

Heading north through Kratzerville, ahead the train will switch the Kratzerville coal loadout and run around their train for the run back to Shamokin Dam yard, the line once continued north but now terminates shortly ahead.

Cool shots, Nikos! I see you enjoyed virtual GP35s today in place of real GP50s...

Real trains suck....thats all I'll say about yesterday......
More virtual GP35's, heading back south after spotting the coal loadout. The two boxcars will be delivered to the siding in the background while the centerbeams are headed for a lumber company further down the line.

Nothing much new to report.. just a few late afternoon shots of the RF57 rolling back into Aberdeen.  First passing by the shop, the HLCX 348 still has yet to be painted.

After nearly two months on the teardown track and then the shop track, the BWED slug was pushed to the end of the shop tail to make room for the 554 to be painted.  El Presidente of the BWED lost interest and the BASR is brokering the unit, but will be dragged to Gershow Recycling to be cut up if no bids are made.

I stole Deets trainssssssss  :headspin:
SBSR XRC-2 (Extra Road Coal north) arrives at Shamokin PPL where it will set out its 60 loads of coal for the power plant before returning back with light hoppers. The BASR serves Shamokin PPL Tuesday-Thursday with the SBSR handling the traffic the rest of the week.
