 O0 They became Amtrak #450-451. Due to the cost of putting a jacuzi in every coach, the plan and whatever rolling stock was built was scrapped...a long time ago.

They became Metrolink 882 and 883 actually. The cars ran way over budget and worse were out of spec, too heavy and did not fit Amtrak clearances, they were cut up by Raider railcar per contract. One of the few trains that I would never want to ride....
