For some reason some of the pics don't show anymore. Especially the thumbnails from back when. ??? So I'll repost some of other parts of my route.

That's the way this area is. On the east of the track at Hearst siding there is a few scattered trees and groups of trees on grassy hills. But on the west side of the tracks there is some very heavily wooded hills.

Heres some more shots of unfinished areas of my route running on the SP set of tracks. :)

Passing Niles Junction about to cross Niles Creek.(That creek is the main water supply for the city of Fremont)

Crossing the east entrance into the Niles District.

Crossing state route 238 going east into Niles Canyon.

Passing over State Route 84. (84 is also a scenic route)

Running past the old Sunol Station.

Approaching the area across from the Hearst siding on the south end.

Getting ready to cross under the Western Pacific tracks just north of the Hearst siding. (you might recognize the area from some of the real pics I've posted.)

Don't worry to much Steve. The water is actually greener than Trainz can render. :D

And you said that you weren't a good route builder. It looks like you have made a liar out of yourself because that is one beautiful looking route.

I'm just overly critical about my own work.  I hardly ever meat up to my own expectations for myself.  It just makes me work harder to achieve the effect I'm after.  But for others I'm more forgiving. ;)

I am the same way with my artwork Bill. ;) But yeah, your route is looking great. I love the pic of the WP F7s going over the bridge.
