AngelC just gave me this today.

CNJ's PQ tower at Nesquehoning Junction, PA. as it looks today.

The tower once guarded the busy junction where the Nesquehoning Valley Branch and yard joined the mainline, with a total of 6 tracks passing the tower.

Today, yard and second main tracks are gone.

For a while, only one track was left, as part of the shortline L&S railroad. When the R&N took over operations in the area, they rebuilt the tracks that were once part of the mainline ( the tracks in the center of the pictures), restoring the "junction".

The tower itself and surrounding land is owned by the state and there are no real plans to restore it. It's in a quite deteriorated state, with all the windows and doors gone, and even a tree growing inside! (and yes, there is a tree growing inside it in Trainz too!  ;D)

P.S. I'm going to re-align the track and fix/finish the scenery before i call this spot "done"
