Houses and Garages
« on: February 03, 2007, 04:10:53 PM »
I recently made my first foray into gmax, and this is the result of my first serious effort at it. It is a two story center entrance New England colonial period house, with a matching garage. The original eighteenth century designs have been widely copied to this day.

I plan on doing some color variations, and some different garages, as well as the basic house plus additions. They should be on the DLS early next week.

(If I get into too much trouble, Tyler has promised to bail me out.  ;D )

Keep it up George. Your doing an excellent job on these buildings. :) Any idea when you'll start releasing them?

Everything but the utility shed has gone to the DLS and is just waiting for approval.

These are awesome!  Can't wait.  Reminds me of my old hometown in New England.

Another variation.

I also reissued my first house to the DLS because I discovered that it had way too many polys, and by redoing the doors and windows I could knock off more than 2/3 of the polys. Learning all the time.  ;D

A coal miner's house in Rum Junction, West Virginia adjacent to the C&O tracks, done from a photo in A Model Railroader's Guide To Coal Railroading by Tony Koester, photo from 1975. There were about a dozen of these houses stretched out in a row facing the tracks.

I just sent it off to the DLS.
