Cool! I did a social studies fair on the Transcon, Bailey Yard, and the Alameda Corridor in 7th grade and made it to state! (I guess that diorama of the corridor helped!)

They look great Bill. (I was going to insert a joke about asking if those engines pulling your freight cars were some of Frank's but decided I like being able to post and read here on the forum). Can't wait for it to be released.

In the South Florida Mega Route, FEC Train 202 runs through Fort Lauderdale (Croissant Park). Today was a test op session. I remember having to settle for the sound of notch 5 or 6 in the past in DCC mode, but with this + cab mode, notch 8 couldn't get me past 49 mph in the 55mph Ojus-Dania stretch.
I am happy that Vincent did something to fill the void of RA SD70M-2s, but I might be hinting a certain desire here from our friends for a better version  Wink. In general FEC power is few, far between, and not quality enough for Trainz 2012 with minor exceptions and with this I am accepting a challenge to get a whole new route done that many Trainzers will like.
More will be on my thread for the whole route.

The first picture, is one of 3 NS SD80MAC, and 12 CR SD70MAC divided 5 unit sets with 3 sets of 75 coal cars running up Tehachapi.
The idea came from MRL coal trains that they used to run, probably back in the 80's or early 90's, when they would run 15 SD45's.
I just wanted to show NS and CR fans what modern power can do when 1970's SP operating philosophy (more HP=Heavier, longer trains, not necessarily faster) is put into practice.
I have to make a correction.  I thought MRL was running 75 cars between 3 sets of Locomotives, turns out it was 37 sets of coal cars.  Sorry, but that is still cool!  Afro
 If you ask me.!  Haha.

The first is a BNSF SD70MAC on a BNSF grain train.

SP and SF intermodal train,

A DRGW SD40T-2 on the head end of a Eugene bound extra.  This train is running through Dextervile.

Amazing what some quality retexturing can do for a ancient model, not to mention the great setting!
