Creston Tower
« on: February 14, 2007, 06:02:37 PM »
The tower at Creston, Ohio on the Erie Railroad at the crossing with the Wheeling & Lake Erie (later NKP). I just need to darken the cream colored shingles a bit...Trainz renders things lighter than the model.

Nice job on the crossing tower. You're right about Trainz rendering things lighter. I'm having a heck of a time on a few objects getting them to look right in the game. Well, persistence pays off. ;)

Ooo Nice.  George it's refreshing to have you contributing to this forum.  Your routes are top notch and some of the best made for trainz.  Keep up the good work.

Maybe. The difficulty is always getting good clear photos to work from. I haven't yet gone through my CSX books..maybe I'll find something to work from in there.

By George I think he's got it!!!!!!!  ;D

Looks like your getting the hang of modeling.  I like towers a lot even though we don't really have them in my neck of the woods.  There is something about them that is interesting.

keep up the good work!
